True, Vince can sing from time to time. But then again, what does that matter? You will find just as many on this site who will praise the "skills" of Johnny Thunders. Plus, I would say that Bob Dylan has done more for music than ANY band we discuss here, and that man can't sing worth a damn. So what in all reality does being able to sing have to do with anything?

No clue, Carl. But, it seems like everytime Motley is discussed someone always throws in some type of insult- ie: Vince's voice, weight, drinking, etc. Who cares, it's all preference.

Being able to sing means quite a lot to, eh, people
who can sing; people who've trained; people who
appreciate range, intonation, timber, etc. Sing-
ing is an artform, an art to train and aspire to.

I'm not the best singer in the world, but if I
could afford it, I'd pay for professional les-
sons - not because I think being trained auto-
matically enables one to be more listenable
(most rock bands benefit from the untrained
characteristics and flaws of their 2-packs-a-
day singers), but simple because I want to stretch
myself and do whatever I can do to its ulitmate
level.

If Joe Bloggs can't run 2 meters without coughing
his lungs out, should we expect Olympic runners
to take him seriously?

I agree...if ya like the band then listen to it...if ya don't like it don't listen to it.
I don't like KISS...and I respect all the KISS fans who waste their money on such crap....SEE????...I respect KISS fans...if that's what they like then so be it...(psst...ya wasted ya money)....LMFAO!!!

Ok Ok...let me be serious if I can...haha.
I don't like KISS...but those that do then sure go right ahead...but if ya say ya bought their bowling ball...then that's just asking for a smartass remark...OH geez...well I tried to be serious...oh well.

No, you're wrong, and you know it, you contention-
creating Texan monster.

'The Downward Spiral' is fanatastic. We have to love
it if only for Trent's anti-hip-hop, anti-gangstar,
anti-bling-bling, anti-cultural 'Big Man With A
Gun' track.

I can't sing... but I know what I like and what I don't. There are many voices that make me cringe and Vince's voice in the past - so many I don't remember exactly years - has made me cringe. Maybe not so much his voice as his slurring I think. And it's funny you mention Bob Dylan Carl. Cuz Bob Dylan was GREAT! But you're right he can't sing. I can't stand listening to him. But he was an awesome songwriter. I actually like Motley Crue - or rather I like their sound from before. That's my choice. I also can choose not to spend my money on them - or I can choose to spend a ton of money on them. It's not for me to say "YOU'RE STUPID THAT BAND SUCKS!!" Because believe me, I enjoy MANY bands that the majority of the people think suck. (And I won't be mentioning any names either.)

As for not liking Vince because of his weight or drinking or what have you - that's not it for me. I could care less if he weighed 500 lbs and couldn't finish a set without passing out (reminiscing about seeing the mentors).

And so what, I bought that bowling ball... it's my damn money!!!!

<font size="4" face="Arial">Don't get me wrong, most of my Motley comments are all done with a tongue planted firmly in cheek and a "wink wink, nudge nudge" to them all. I don't like Crue, and we all know it, and that is more or less why I will have my comments. Kind of the whole "HEY, ya wanna know what I think???" and everybody walks away and I keep talking. Never take much of what I say about them or Roxx Gang too seriously, as my disliking of them is biased in that, well, I don't like them. If I say something of them sucks, it is much like Tuff up there saying he loves something new they do. We are both biased, but on opposite sides.

Okay let me try this again.

Example:
I like Roxx Gang and Carl doesn't.
Am I gonna waste my time trying to prove to Carl how awesome they are?...NO I think not, I wouldn't.
Carl doesn't like them for his reasons and I like them for my reason, so why should I bicker and moan about him not liking them? huh huh huh?
